Iran film '21 Days Later' grabs Best Film Award at KiKiFe filmfest in Germany

Iranian film '21 Days Later' has been honored at the 25th edition of the Kinder Kino Film Festival (KiKiFe) in Germany.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Kheradmandan, the Iranian film managed to win the Best Film award from the German film event.

'21 Day Later', starring Sareh Bayat and Hamid-Reza Azarang, is a melodrama about a teenager who has to struggle with several challenges in order to fulfill his dad’s wishes.

According to the festival’s website, the event consists of three major categories including performances of children and youth films from home and abroad. The event is divided into three sections of Competition, Panorama and Retrospective.

The 25th edition of the festival was held on March 19-25, 2018, in the town of Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany.
